
about company director David Stefanovic is a registered architect with 20 years experience. He worked in Frankfurt, London and Brussels prior to moving to Australia in 1993. In Sydney, David spent four years with Bligh Voller Nield as a design architect and a further seven years as Associate Director with Allan Jack and Cottier. He was involved with the design and management of a number of industry awarded large scale public and residential projects including: Ultimo Community Centre, the University of New South Wales Graduate School of Management, 'Bullecourt' development in Ultimo and the 'Hudson' apartment complex in Alexandria. Within this period David spent a number of years managing AJ+C's Malaysian office with responsibility for the design of the $120 million luxury twin residential towers. Currently under construction the project is adjacent to the amazing KLCC Twin Towers located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Attracted by the lifestyle, tropical climate and architectural opportunities, David and his family arrived in Townsville in 2003. Working initially with Bruce Barrett at Barrett Architects David then established architects north embarking on a diverse range of exciting projects including the design and management of the Riverview Tavern (awarded a RAIA Regional Commendation in 2005) , Edge on Echlin Apartments, design and documentation of the Storm Financial HQ building expansion, Yarrawonga Terraces, and a number of innovative residential designs. |
